Genny here just turned one, her family recently displaced by the invasion of Ukraine, and her father by way of Korea before that. In this portrait, she is calm, though somewhat unsure about me. We quickly see she’s in her father’s arms. She's framed almost completely in white, and so all that’s left is to study every feature on her face. I think this would be an interesting photo to re-create with her every year.
